Timothy Bigelow's reg. [15th Mass.] April 1, 1777 to April 1780 and after Jan. 1778 "on command Gen. Washington's Guard," at Valley Forge, West Point and other places. The original certificat of service under this second enlistment, now in possession of one of his gr.sons, reas as follows:
"William Wyman of Lunenburg listed in Capt. Silvenus Smith's Company in year 1777 the first April for three years in Col. Timothy Bigelow qrr Regement served in the Regement till January 1778 then went to General Washington Life guard and served till April 1780. William Lord --[endorsed] George Washington--Pr.Larned."
